Clutter Cleaner is a locally owned family business specializing in helping seniors and families tackle the physical and mental challenges of cleaning up their homes.

Richmond, VA based entrepreneur, Matt Paxton, developed Clutter Cleaner after cleaning his grandmother’s basement. She knew at some point she would be moving into a retirement community and she wanted the basement emptied. She didn’t want to bother her kids with the task of sorting through 20 years of accumulation. She walked through the basement with me and never went back down there again. Seeing the enormous relief on his grandmother’s face gave Paxton the immediate idea for Clutter Cleaner.

Clutter Cleaner is more than just getting rid of stuff. It truly is a service that provides relief and peace of mind for our customers. Because of the personal nature of our business, our people are very important. All Clutter Cleaner employees live in the Richmond, VA area and are active members of the community.
